Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer
Engaged for Petrokazakhstan as a consultant, working as a Senior mud engineer. Cover drilling site operations and do the coordination with the office and warehouse. Operating in several large fields for 3 different company entities, all in Kyzylorda area. Being responsible for testing new mud chemicals from both Eastern and Western as well as from local supplying contractors. Trying to find the best option to get good quality over price ratio, representing Company interests.
Involved in solving problems with reactive clay formations and lost circulation. Worked all jobs regarding mud management on the rig site such as Daily maintenance of drilling or completion fluids, daily checks, maintaining mud properties as per mud program using API equipped laboratory. Make sure that the work is performed according to the program, safely and in projected limits of quality. Mange the operations of solids control equipment and optimize its usage. Training of local crew.

Started 1998 as a junior Mud engineer working for NIS Naftagas. Go through all mud engineering phases. Learn and practice mud preparation aspects from A to Z, participate in majority of drilling fluids programs participation and being in-charged to follow how closely programs have been followed. Gain huge practical experience with all mud systems in use on Serbian soil but mostly with WBM, High and low densities, Emulsions, Inhibit and Lignosulphonate.
Also, solving problems with kicks, losses and stuck pipes. Obtain lots of experience with working on deviated wells. During this period worked on all fields in Serbian national company, all over the Country.
Participate in Head laboratory tests, working as laboratory technician. Testing mud and cement slurries proprieties, pilot test mud receipts, preparing and analyzing core samples.
